There are certain producers whose work we admire above all others; Rodaidh McDonald is one, Paul Epworth another, and now, add Liam Howe to that list. Having already impressed hugely with Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs and Marina & the Diamonds, Howe is turning his hand to a new generation of stars, with crooner Laurie Belgrave and ESH entering his studio of late. The latter has just dropped her debut track, 'Trigger', a brooding sliver of electronic-pop punctuated by a glinting vocal of the highest sheen, it shows ESH has a strong bond with former Howe alumni, particularly LDR. There's an EP coming up before the end of the year, it'll be very interesting to see where ESH takes this very promising start. - DC
